The starting point of the Alarko Agriculture Group was the establishment of Alsera, a company operating in the greenhouse sector. Turkey possesses significant natural advantages for agricultural and greenhouse activities due to its climate and geographical structure. Notably, our country is home to some of the world's richest natural resources in terms of geothermal energy utilized in greenhouse activities. Established in March 2023 and commencing operations in April by acquiring ready-to-use greenhouses, Alsera has become Turkey's largest geothermal greenhouse producer through subsequent acquisitions and the construction of new greenhouses.

The company aims to reach 5,000 decares of modern greenhouse area in Afyonkarahisar, Afyon Sandıklı, Denizli Sarayköy, and Eskişehir Mahmudiye by the end of 2028. Aspiring to transfer its expertise in modern and technological greenhouse farming abroad, Alarko Agriculture Group registered its company under the name "TOO ALSERA KZ" in the city of Shymkent, Republic of Kazakhstan, at the end of 2023.

Alarko Agriculture Group acquired Genseed, a company located in the Antalya Kurşunlu region, for the strategic product of seed breeding and production. Utilizing the gene pool in its inventory, the company has initiated R&D and production efforts for the development of new seed varieties. Following the production phase, Genseed aims to introduce the seeds to both domestic and international markets. The company will conduct breeding and production development studies for different types of seeds to be used in both soil-based and soilless agriculture. With a focus on healthy, natural, and sustainable seed breeding and production under the guidance of modern science, the company aims to add value to the country's agriculture.
