Issues such as the climate crisis, ecosystem destruction, the biodiversity crisis, and pressure on natural resources have been increasingly systemic each year. We believe the damage humanity has caused to our planet over the last few centuries must be reversed. Therefore, one of the main pillars of our sustainability strategy is the planet component.

As Alarko Agriculture Group, it is of great importance to us that all our resources and resource usage are environmentally friendly and that we reduce our carbon footprint at every point in our workflow processes. In our greenhouses, we use geothermal resources instead of fossil fuels for heating. We then re-inject this resource back into underground reservoir areas to prevent the residual geothermal fluid from leaving any trace on the surface or underground.
